M ark Burden is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Rim Corporation. With over seventeen years of experience in the hospitality industry, his skills include project and construction management, financing commercial real estate development, and negotiating acquisitions, exchanges or merges.

In addition to his position with The Rim Corporation, Mark has held the position of General Partner and Contractor for Fourth Leaf Developers, an industrial complex construction firm. Prior to co-founding The Rim Corporation in 1983, Mark was Regional Representative for Cessna Finance.

M ark has served on many hotel and real estate associations Mark Burden, CEO, The Rim Corporation own/manage vacation and business hotels in Anaheim, Calabasas, Port Hueneme, Ventura, Solvang, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Sacramento and Auburn California and Portland, Oregon, headquarters based in Modesto, California.as well as community and state volunteer organizations including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Stanislaus County, the Center for Human Services, and the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Board. He has also been the recipient of the Leadership Award from United Way.

Mark is a licensed real estate broker and a graduate of California State University, at San Jose, California.
