at Mitchell is the Director of Public Relations and Publicity for The Rim Corporation. With a diverse background in journalism, marketing, sales, and hotel
management, Pat has garnered both international and national notoriety for the company. In addition to her PR duties, Pat is also Acting General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott, Livermore, California.
Prior to joining The Rim Corporation in 1997, Pat was the vice president of San Francisco, California – based AGA & Associates overseeing the operation of a 12
million-dollar company. In her position, Pat was responsible for the planning and execution of 200 national and international medical and corporate conferences
annually. She was also successful in launching marketing and sales efforts to diversify business in other areas including corporate, training/development and
leisure travel. Her career in hotels began in 1982 at The Lake Charles Hilton in Lake Charles, LA where she worked in all departments of the hotel including
Purchasing, Banquets, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Executive Offices, Front Desk, Audit and all food and beverage outlets. Pat was the Director of Sales and
Catering for the Holiday Inn in Modesto, California for Linquist and Craig Hotels & Resorts. In this position, she was responsible for the total marketing, promotion
and program development for the full service 190-room hotel. In 1989, she became the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Holiday Inn in Buena Park,
California under Remington Hotel Corporation, later working for Holiday Inn & Plaza Suites in Las Cruces, NM. Pat has also worked for Hilton Hotel
Corporation as Assistant Director of Sales for Oakland Airport Hilton in Oakland, California, where she was responsible for all of the selling efforts of convention/association market segment. |
