Along the other side of the Naval Base, a short drive away, is the Channel Islands Fisherman's Wharf, and the dockside homes of Mandalay Bay. A great many private and commercial small boats call this marina area home. Dotting Channel Islands Fisherman's Wharf are quaint restaurants and avant-garde boutiques. Guests will discover a wealth of entertainment, art galleries, and specialty shops featuring hand-crafted ornaments, oil paintings, books, children's toys, exotic coffee and teas, handmade candles, and souvenirs.
